Christopher E. Girgenti

Chris Girgenti joined New World Ventures in 1996 and has served as Managing Partner since 1998. During this time, he has led the organization and capital formation for four venture funds and has led or overseen investments in more than 30 technology companies. His prior experience includes the corporate finance departments of The Chicago Corporation and Kemper Securities, Inc. where he focused on technology-related transactions; and the merger and acquisition group of KPMG Peat Marwick, where he coordinated business valuations and divestiture engagements. Chris currently serves as the audit committee chairman of eCollege.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: ECLG) as well as on the boards of Tavve Software Company and Sportvision, Inc. and as a board observer of The Active Network, Inc. and LeftHand Networks, Inc. Chris also serves on the advisory board of Illinois Technology Enterprise Corporation – Evanston.
