Bob Maynard, an accomplished sales executive with over 20 years of experience in software and services, leads Univa's global sales and marketing organizations to further accelerate the company's revenue growth.

In his role as EVP of Sales and Marketing, Mr. Maynard has strategic and tactical responsibility for Univa's sales and marketing initiatives worldwide. He joins Univa from Onaro, a leading storage service management (SSM) company where he also served as VP of Sales. Prior to Onaro, Mr. Maynard was at Sun Microsystems where he served as vice president of its Global Identity Management practice. Under his leadership, the group achieved 115% year over year growth and attained the leadership position in the identity management category according to Gartner.

Prior to joining Sun, Mr. Maynard held various executive positions at several software and service companies, including Spirian, Marimba and IBM Tivoli. As vice president of worldwide sales and business development at Spirian, he developed the direct and indirect sales organizations to transition the company from a services firm to a software vendor, resulting in increased profitability and the acquisition of the company to SecureInfo Corporation. As Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Marimba, Mr. Maynard led a team of sales professionals to achieve 105% of annual goal within four quarters of the initial public offering (IPO). As Vice President of North American sales at IBM Tivoli, Mr. Maynard was responsible for all of IBM's systems management software and delivered on his commitment to successfully integrate four different sales organizations and their respective processes into the Tivoli sales team.
