A former executive at Tivoli, Marimba and Sun, Maynard brings a wide range of experience in management software relevant to systems, services, storage, information and configuration. Maynard also led worldwide sales for Marimba, a leading IT asset management and configuration management company eventually acquired by BMC Software. At Marimba, Maynard drove sales and revenue execution to reach their profitability goal after four quarters from IPO. Maynard’s Marimba sales team consistently overachieved their sales goals on a quarterly basis. Maynard has also served on the executive team at Sun Microsystems where he was vice president of its Global Identity Management practice. Under his leadership, the group achieved 115% year over year growth and attained the leadership position in the identity management category according to Gartner. Maynard’s guidance also helped ensure that Sun’s acquisition of Waveset Technologies was highly successful.
